Peter completed audiology training in 1986 at Melbourne University, and was then employed as an regional audiologist at Mildura Base Hospital, gaining valuable experience in adult and paediatric hearing testing, hearing conservation, and services to indigenous and remote communities.
He returned to Melbourne in 1990, working at the Royal Children’s Hospital gaining further specialist experience in neonatal, infant and general paediatric testing. He also undertook work as a sessional audiologist at Ear Nose and Throat specialist clinics.
Peter established a part time practice in 1991 in Brighton which later became incorporated as Bayside Hearing Clinic in 1995. Peter worked full time for 21 years, managing the Bayside Hearing Clinic and seeing clients of all ages.
In 2016, Peter sold his practice to Hearing Professionals, relieving him of the management responsibilities of the clinic, so that he can continue with his passion to provide audiological services to his clients.
In recent years, Peter has also undertaken volunteer work in both Vietnam and the Philippines to assist hearing impaired and disadvantaged children.
